As a teacher of both English and Spanish as second languages for more than twenty years, my favorite teaching scenario is tutoring. This is due to the face-to-face communication, which makes for a more successful outcome. It's also an advantage to get to know my students on a personal level to find out how best they learn.
I have experience teaching both in the U.S. and in Spain and Mexico where I studied Spanish simultaneously while I was teaching.
My graduate work is from the Universidad de las Americas in Cholula, Mexico as well as from the University of Arizona where I studied Spanish.
At present, I teach part-time at Penn State Brandywine Campus and Immaculata University where I also teach Spanish for medical professionals.
As well as teaching these languages, I also assist students in perfecting their American English accent.
