Inspiring young children has always been Ms. Hedgepeth's passion since she was a young girl which led her to her studies at Hampton University. Hedgepeth received her B.A in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Hampton University and soon after became a licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). During her time as a (SLPA), Ms. Hedgepeth moved to Houston, Texas where she had the opportunity to give therapeutic services to young children and adolescents with articulation and language disorders. Ms. Hedgepeth was motivated to extend her studies in education as she received her M.A in Education. Following, Ms. Hedgepeth began her career in education teaching kindergarten, PK3 and currently PK4. Ms. Hedgepeth believes that teaching elementary and early childhood is filled with love, joy and excitement and it sets the foundation for molding our future citizens.
