I am currently attaining my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, with a double minor in Special Education and Literacy. In the past few years I have had the privilege of teaching and tutoring in a variety of settings. While I love tutoring a broad range of elementary subjects, my passion is teaching Reading/Writing/Literacy. I strongly believe that education is necessary, and I understand the importance of a quality learning experience. I believe that every student is capable of learning. Sometimes, they need some extra help to figure out what learning style is best for them and to help propel them in their scholastic journey!
Undergraduate Degree: University of the Incarnate Word - Bachelor in Arts, Elementary School Teaching
I am passionate about music and have been playing piano for fifteen years. I learned and competed in classical piano for eight years, and competed in jazz piano for four years. One year, I even got first place in the state for jazz piano! I also love the flute. I have been playing flute for nine years and have competed at many levels. I am now playing flute in college on a music scholarship. Besides music, I love hiking, biking, cooking, baking, anything to do with art, taking my beagle puppy on a walk, and, of course, teaching children.
