I am a student at Diablo Valley College. I am in the process of getting a degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in visual arts. I have lived in Costa Rica, the Bay Area, Seattle, and on a farm in Washington. I have been a teacher at Bright Horizons, and truly enjoy the opportunity to teach children how to read, write, interact with others, and grow into themselves! I had the honor of teaching a group of children with diverse interests and learning styles, and thanks to that now have the ability to cater my teaching style to the group or individual I'm working with. The subjects I tutor focus on reading, writing, and art for younger age groups. I believe that children are very wise, and when given the opportunity to explore and build their own knowledge, curiosity, and their identity as learners they will launch into learning with joy and determination.
