I am a BS in Business candidate at NYU Stern working towards my degree as a first-year student. I'm an eager tutor who enjoys helping students in achieving their educational goals. With each student that I connect with, I look forward to hearing their success stories at school. As someone who comes from an underprivileged community, I enjoy facilitating educational resources and outreach to those in a similar position. I believe education can be life-changing, and everyone should be able to experience it. I mostly focus on Algebra 1 and any math that comes before that, but I am also experienced in tutoring Spanish, reading and writing, and elementary and middle school sciences and history. My favorite subject to tutor is Spanish because I love to share the benefits that come from learning Spanish, such as access to other countries and people! As a tutor, I ensure that I am breaking down steps as much as possible and explaining why I am taking each step. At the end of the session, the student will know why they are doing what they are doing, not just memorizing steps. Outside of education, I am interested in swimming and running as sports, and I have an old film camera that I regularly use. Developing film has become one of my biggest hobbies while studying at NYU.
