I am a graduate of Depaul University (Chicago, not Indiana lol). I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems. Since graduation, I worked for 2 years as an Advisory Consultant for a Big4 Accounting firm providing Assurance and Internal Audit services to technology/telecommunications clients in the Chicagoland area. I received my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in January 2021 and made the decision to transition from Auditing over to the business side of Accounting in order to try something new and develop a different skill set working in a Staff Accountant role.

Although my primary background is in Accounting, I have multiple interests in tutoring subjects ranging from English, Information Technology, to Algebra. I am a people person and I really enjoy connecting with my students in order to figure out the best ways to motivate them. Then, I tailor our sessions around that - I believe that's the best way for students to actually understand the material and retain the knowledge after the test.
