My passion for teaching began with "teaching" my brother, which he wasn't much a fan of. Since then, I have earned my BA in English from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX with a Minor in French and heavy coursework in anthropology and history. I have personally taught children from 6th grade to 12th all the way to adultsall of which were amazing experiences I enjoyed! I like taking subject that are viewed as "boring" to make them fun for all those involvedactive and collaborative involvement is a must for me. My favorite subject is literature with history being a tight second. In literature, there are no rules and you can see the text through whatever color lens you wishwith no real wrong answer.
Outside of work, I enjoy my time with my Boston Terriers, Corgi, and Great Dane with my husband of ten years.
