I have a Master's in Government and Public Affairs and other one in Education, and I'm Mexican, so Spanish its my native language.
I have been an enthusiastic participant, organizer and trainer for debate and public speech contests, winning many national debate competitions and designed training programs for future contests.
By practicing the debate we learn to investigate, write and organize ideas, we improve our public speaking skills, but the most important thing is that we learn to understand different points of view on topics that we did not know or that we thought we knew.
In my experience, preparing students for a debate not only impacts their knowledge of a subject, but also strengthens their self-esteem and leadership skills.
I am convinced that education requires a space where we can express ourselves freely and all opinions are respected. I am aware of the privileges that I have had in my life, and I constantly try not to affect how I treat and what I expect from others.
