The research says that your brain actually learns much MORE from making mistakes than it does from working a problem correctly; nowhere is this more true than in your math class! Embracing and understanding the mistakes that you make is the most important thing that you can do to improve your performance as a learner!

As a recent graduate in mathematics education, I spent the last four years immersed in the most recent research on how YOUR brain can understand math more effectively. I graduated from Brigham Young University in April, with 3 years of experience tutoring and teaching mathematics under my belt. While I've helped straight-A students to excel on their AP exams, I've also guided students struggling with simple arithmetic to find success in algebra and quadratics class! I am a FIRM BELIEVER that ANYONE can master mathematics with the right tools and a well-trained teacher.
