About Me

I am a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I also successfully completed the requirements of the Human Rights Program, graduating as a Human Rights Scholar. Both during college and post-graduation I have had the opportunity to work with students in a variety of subjects, from the arts to core subjects. After graduation, I had the opportunity to work with a nonprofit in Prince George's County; I helped them adapt their summer math program into a virtual format due to the pandemic and subsequently tutored for them. My favorite subjects to tutor are middle school math, English, writing, and theater. I believe wholeheartedly in relating what a student is learning to their real life; I like to balance practicing skills with real world application of those skills. My math students were always the most engaged when I introduced interactive elements that connected their schoolwork to things they were interested in. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, writing fiction, and baking.
