I completed my undergraduate degrees at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where I majored in History and Music with a minor in French. At NWU, I worked in the writing center on campus, helping students from all departments on campus with their research and writing skills. Between undergrad and grad school, I taught English in rural France to high-school students, and loved seeing the improvement and learning from my students over the course of the year. My Master's degrees in History and Library and Information Science are from the University of Maryland. Because of my passion for aerospace history, during my time at UMD I worked as a teaching assistant for a course on NASA's Apollo Program.
With a broad range of interests, I'm available to tutor Reading/Writing components on standardized tests, general classroom writing, History (US/World/Music) and Literature.
