I am a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from Brooklyn College with a focus on Journalism Print Media. Since graduation, I have worked as a paraprofessional in NY, a Substitute Teacher in NJ and an Honors English Teacher here in Florida. I've tutored students while working in Youth development and help adults obtain their GED. I am now a certified English 6-12 Teacher here in Florida where I teach at a charter school that caters to students ages 15-24. At this time I only tutor English but I have tutored History while working in youth development. I am most passionate about English, Literature and Creative Writing. I've helped many students prepare for standardized test and it's a joy to see reach their goals. Helping students write essays that meets success criteria is one of the things I'm mostly proud of. I teach them to write for an A+ and often they become great writers at a mastery level. I believe that if given the chance and resources all students can excel academically. This way they are set up for a promising future because of academic success. During my spare time I enjoy reading by the pool (because I'm a constant believer in continuously educating myself to become a better version of me), writing poetry and helping others.
