I have been teaching for over 28 years. My first two years in the classroom, I served as a Teacher Assistant for the University of Missouri- St. Louis' Childcare Center. At that time, I was also a full time student there. I've served eighteen years teaching both Seventh and Eighth Grade English Language Arts and the remaining years have been dedicated to nurturing Kindergarteners. I have several certificates: English Language Arts 4-8, Social Studies 4-8, Prek-3rd and Elementary Education 1-6. I have a BS in Elementary Education and a MA in Secondary Education. I am very passionate about Reading, Writing and helping young minds to flourish academically and socially.
