I'm a University of Maryland Computer Science graduate. I've been programing for about 10 years and I always had a passion for Computer Science. I enjoy teaching CS concepts as it helps solidify my own understanding of the subject and keep my knowledge fresh. It's also pretty exciting to introduce students to the world of computer programming and all its possibilities.
I realize the field of Computer Science is relatively young and rapidly changing. I don't claim to know everything and I hope to learn as much as my students throughout our sessions.
I believe curiosity precedes all learning. I work best with motivated students that ask lots of questions and are genuinely interested in the subject, not for a grade or GPA, but to solve problems.
Therefore, my teaching style is driven by problem solving. As we work on assignments together, I will often expand on concepts required for completing the assignment. However, I will NOT give answers to assignments or write code for you.
To get the most out of my tutoring sessions you should bring projects or assignments you're working on along with questions or issues you're having.
