I started my higher education journey right after high-school graduation in 2009. I graduated from Miami-Dade College as soon as I could and transferred to Florida International University to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. At the same time, I received my Black-Belt in Martial Arts and was also working full time as a Martial Arts instructor for children and adults. I was the lead instructor and after school program director in the martial arts school. I helped students attain their goals in many areas of life (fitness, self-defense, school, discipline etc). Teaching Martial Arts also helped me become a great public speaker and was able to make speeches in schools and recreation centers. I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's Degree and was accepted into the Florida Institute of Technology for their Master's Degree program in Professional Applied Behavior Analysis. During the same time that I started working on my Master's degree, I started interning as a Behavior Therapist. This gave me the opportunity to help children with developmental disabilities. Ever since I could remember, my passion has always been to help as many children as I can. I have helped children of all ages attain their goals in the school setting and home setting. Once I obtained my Master's degree, I started to study for my professional licensing exam in Behavior Analysis. Passing the exam was a real obstacle for me. I soon realized that studying by myself was not going to help me move any further. I was able to pass the exam by seeking help from an online tutoring organization. The teachers gave weekly assignments and met with the students weekly in groups as well as individual meetings. Ever since then, I have obtained many necessary skills to help others find the correct study materials for the RBT, BCaBA and BCBA professional licensing exams. My teaching philosophy is to take difficult material and simplify it as much as possible in order to help someone understand the subject better. I am also fluent in Spanish and English. I can help learners who are seeking to learn a new language as well as learners who seek to better their conversational Spanish and English. I am a firm believer in education and seek to help students of all ages.
