I have loved math for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories was understanding the concept of multiplication by studying a six-pack of soda in a supermarket.
I am currently double majoring in economics and applied mathematics at UCLA. I have the departmental honors distinction in economics and am a member of the honors college at UCLA. My goal is to attain a Ph.D. in Economics to do research and to teach at the university level.
I have prior experiences teaching as a private math tutor, mixed martial arts instructor, and president of one of UCLA's finance clubs. I have taught all ages of students from as young as 3 years old to undergraduate students. My two core teaching philosophies are "understand what the student needs" and "perfect practice makes perfect".
