French is my first language. Before moving to the US for my undergraduate studies, my education was primarily in French.
I began tutoring French, chemistry, algebra, and physics as an undergrad, and I found it rewarding. Not only was I helping my peers, but I was also sharpening my skills and knowledge. In the process, I gained more confidence in helping others, not just get the right answer but to understand the material.
Regarding my tutoring style, it is not a one-size-fits-all strategy. I take the time to know what students need and develop a plan with them from there. I am here to help, share knowledge, encourage, and guide.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University. I will be working towards my Master's degree in sustainable development and management at the University of Montreal, starting next Fall.
I have a passion for environmental sustainability, community engagement, and cultures (food, art, media). In my spare time, I like to go on promenades, watch tv-shows, read, and play video games.
