Teaching and mentoring students, from freshman-level courses to more advanced graduate courses, is incentive for my research. I learn a lot from teaching because it forces me to present non-trivial problems in a pedagogical way, so I gain new
perspectives. This is highly beneficial for my own research and the students involved in it.

In order to make my courses attractive to the students, I always try to make a connection between the topics that I teach and our everyday
life.
