I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated in 2019 with my Bachelor's in International Affairs with a Spanish language concentration. This fall, I will be starting a Master's program in Applied Economics. I currently provide tutoring in Spanish, international affairs, elementary school math, and elementary school reading.

In 7th grade, when I first started studying Spanish, I found it intimidating and challenging, luckily, with the help of excellent tutors, I began to fall in love with the language because of the amazing opportunities for human connection it welcomes. In high school, I went on to take AP Spanish followed by two independent study classes, Spanish 6 and 7, to maintain my skills before college. I have previously worked as a Spanish tutor for high school students taking Spanish 1 and 2, and enjoy working to spark the same interest that hooked me on the language.

Motivating, communicating, and connecting with children is a skill I have honed while working as a Spanish tutor, camp counselor, and summer camp founder. At a local elementary school, I previously worked as a Spanish translator for students who spoke Spanish as a first language. I also worked as a summer camp counselor, and in high school, I started my own neighborhood summer camp program for girls aged 5-12. I have experience teaching students of all ages and look forward to working with a diverse range of clients!

I really enjoy learning and mastering new skills and always work to inspire that confidence and motivation in others. My goal as a tutor is not to give my students all the answers, but to arm them with the tools they need to identify connections, find enjoyable ways to practice, and gain confidence in using their skills.
