Howdy! My name's Jason Maxwell. Seeing student excel and seeing students fill their learning gaps in order to excel because of my teaching, is reward enough.
My expertise is in elementary reading instruction and primary age multiple subjects.
After nine years of teaching ESL in Japan, I moved back to Oregon in 2010. Earned my Master of Arts in teaching from Warner Pacific University, then went on to earn my post-graduate degree in school principal administration from Eastern Washington University.
Currently, I'm studying Artificial Intelligence for Machine Learning to help me become an even more data driven instructor.
When teaching, I use high ratios of positive interactions and give students many opportunities to respond in an engaging learning environment.
