Since volunteering as a TA and ACT Tutor in high school, I have found that I love teaching students in academics. I continued to peer tutor all throughout college and beyond, and I am so excited that Varsity Tutors has given me the opportunity to continue my passion here.

I tutor a number of subjects but I specialize in the English and Science subjects. I consider myself a whiz at essay editing, literature comprehension, and English test prep for the ACT. I love helping students who are frustrated by the reading and writing portions of tests to approach the question from another angle. Having written my own Undergraduate Thesis and Masters Capstone, I also feel qualified in helping students develop and edit theirs.

I attended the University of Central Arkansas Honors College and majored in Biology with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. I then attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and graduated with my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. I am now an NCCPA certified PA with an extensive background in biology and medical science, which allows me to tutor PA students in PANCE preparation.

Throughout my career, tutoring has been a constant. I love sharing and teaching the information I know, whether it is in English, Biology, or the medical sciences. I firmly believe in tailored teaching, working with the interests and strengths of each student, and building confidence to help them improve as much as possible!
