I am an undergraduate junior at CUNY City College of New York. I am pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies with a focus on political theory and international relations. I aspire to attain my law degree following graduation in May of 2022. Throughout college, I have tutored children as a volunteer for the City Tutors and mentored college students for the Black Male Initiative: Urban Mentoring and Achievement Network. I am most passionate about tutoring Political Science, History, and Writing, but I have and will tutor in Math and Science if needed. I am avid about the field of Political Science because I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience through attending college and interning with the European Parliament, I find the most joy when passing my knowledge and experience to others. Also, I find assisting as a writing tutor rewarding because writing is an essential tool that is always used by people, whether it be in a professional or personal capacity. I strongly believe that knowledge is power and can help people overcome any adversity they may face, but not all people learn the same way. Thus, it is essential that those of us with the resources, knowledge, experience, and wisdom give back to support others who are struggling. I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts about politics and international crises, running, and learning to cook food from different cultures during my free time.
