I graduated with the highest honors in Biology from the University of Houston (UH) with a concentration in Medicine & Society. I have participated in tutoring and mentorship opportunities for as long as I can remember! Recent experience includes "PEERS Houston", "Best Buddies", and working as the Lead Teaching Assistant under the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at UH. My passions include teaching biology, chemistry, mathematics, editing essays, and more. I truly believe that education is one of the most valuable achievements possible, if not the most. I want to facilitate the best education for my peers, students, colleagues, and all other people; if that means providing my own service, then I am more than happy to do so. One of my hobbies is to learn languages and humanities. I am currently learning Urdu, Spanish, and Arabic! Before graduation, I received a scholarship to visit Spain and experience its rich culture. Pending public health measures, I plan to visit in the summer. I hope to learn multiple languages so that I can help even more people as I will pursue a career in medicine sometime in the future.

I enjoy weightlifting, a passion I have had since high school. I also am interested in languages and humanities, as I minored in Medicine & Society. I am currently pursuing a master's degree that concentrates on cross-cultural competencies. Another hobby of mine is art. I participated in a photography competition a few years ago in NYC and won 1st place!
