I have a Master's in Education from Radford University and a Bachelor's in History from the University of Maryland. I enjoy early modern European history, art history, military history, and academic writing. I have written many, many historical research papers during my academic career and would love to help students improve and expand their writing skills. My teaching style is very much influenced by my students and what works best for them. I like to push my students to challenge themselves and self-reflect, but also offer a safe and supportive environment to learn in.
