I am a senior at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In Spring 2021, I will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and minors in Environmental Nutrition and Chemistry. After graduation, I plan on applying to medical school.
In my free time, I volunteer as a tutor for local refugees. I also serve as a peer tutor at my university. Although I tutor a broad range of subjects, my specialties include biochemistry, chemistry, and physics. In my experience helping students, I find that active learning, as well as visual aids, help students understand the material better. This is why I will emphasize the understanding of concepts through practice problems. I believe that education is the most important thing needed for personal development; this is why I am very passionate about helping students succeed in their courses and academic careers.
