After seventeen years of traditional classroom teaching, I have fallen in love with tutoring. I have taught at the four-year college, community college, and high school level. I enjoy the ah-ha moments that happen quickly in the tutoring environment. It might take a student months in a classroom to understand a topic that, through tutoring, might take an hour.
