About Me

I am a graduate of Mississippi State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion with a concentration in Food Safety. I am passionate about learning and dedicated to helping children, teens, and college students better understand the world and the history that shapes it. During my time in college, I worked with disabled adults through an academic mentoring program. In this role, I taught study skills, organization, money management, and elective subjects such as animal science. I also gained one-on-one teaching experience with elementary students during COVID, which strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs. My favorite subjects to tutor are English, foreign languages, and study skills. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy volunteering, traveling, and studying Arabic. I am excited to share my love of learning and help each student build confidence and reach their academic goals.
