I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with endorsements in Art and French from DePaul University in 2015. I taught kindergarten in a public school in Illinois from 2015-2020. During this time I also pursued my Master of Education in Diverse Learning (including endorsements in ESL, Gifted, Differentiation, and Special Education), which I completed in 2019. I have been a private tutor for pre-K through 6th grade students in pre-reading skills, early literacy and math, English language (ESL), middle school essay writing and editing, and more. I am a nomad and began traveling at a young age. I have taught primary students in Uganda and tutored an ESL family in France besides my experiences in the United States. While I work with a broad range of subjects and students, Pre-K/Kindergarten holds a special place in my heart. I absolutely love being creative, silly, and fun with the littlest learners! I believe teachers should awaken a desire and passion to learn and encourage a curiosity in all of their students. They should facilitate a classroom where exploration is essential and knowledge is gained through experimentation and personal discoveries, not given as fact from a textbook.
