I graduated from Hyde Park High School in Austin in 2018 and am currently studying psychology and education at the University of Texas. I am most interested in tutoring middle-high school students, but would love to work with younger students as well. I can provide tutoring for various mathematics subjects, introductory sciences, social sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology), and test prep for the ACT and AP exams. I am also passionate about academic organization and scheduling and would love to help students in this matter as well. Lastly, I have been dancing for about 18 years and would enjoy helping students with dance technique and style. I prefer to help students by identifying their individual needs and strengths and working from there. I like to implore different teaching strategies based on what kind of learning the student prefers and focus heavily on positive reinforcement/proactive techniques. I know what it is like to be a very busy student (I was an officer on drill team, the soccer team, acted in plays/musicals, and held office in NHS in high school) and am empathetic to the academic struggles that a full schedule brings. Through those struggles, I found many efficient study tools that I would love to bestow on others.
