I'm an engineering and earth sciences student at Dartmouth College, as well as a huge fan of anything STEM! I've excelled in all of my math- and science-related college classes, from mechanical physics to set theory. This excitement for numbers started in high school, with my AP Physics C classes and competitive math team.
I'm especially excited to work with students on high-school physics, as well as any sort of math, from middle-school pre-algebra right up to college-level multivariable calculus and linear algebra! I am also very familiar with Matlab, C, and Python, as well as geophysics and other forms of earth science.
I have experience tutoring elementary school students in Chicago, through the Chicago Lights tutoring program. While in high school, I tutored peers in physics, and spend much of my college career collaborating with classmates and peers.
Education & Certification
Undergraduate Degree: Dartmouth College - Bachelor of Engineering, Engineering Science
When I'm not studying engineering and earth science at school, I'm often found having adventures outside! I'm an avid backpacker and rock climber, and have been learning to ice climb and road bike! I'm also a ski instructor and a Wilderness EMT. In the past few months, I've picked up baking, and have grown a sourdough starter that makes fantastic loaves. Favorite thing to bake: molasses bread! This fall, I've been learning more math on my own and reading some interesting books on ecology!
