I am a Marine Corps Veteran and MBA graduate currently completing my last few classes, and my dissertation work towards a Ph.D. in Information Technology focused on Information Assurance and Cybersecurity at Capella University. With my extensive coursework, research in cybersecurity, and work experience, I am an effective teacher and communicator. I have an MBA with a focus on Information Security from Texas A&M San Antonio, a Bachelor of Science from UT Dallas, and over ten years of information management experience.
I am currently a volunteer Instructor with the US Marine Corps Cyber Auxiliary and the Air Force Association CyberPatriot program. I am very familiar and comfortable with coursework tools such as Zoom, Skype, Blackboard, and MOODLE. As a learner in my Ph.D. program and an instructor and tutor for online programs, I am comfortable and capable in the learning environment.
Additionally, I was a Senior Information Security Advisor in the Enterprise Security Group on the Cyber Supply Chain team at a large financial institution for several years.
