I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. I received my Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics, along with a minor in Economics. I am continuing my actuarial studies, working towards becoming an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. While at the University of Pittsburgh, I was able to volunteer as a peer tutor in the honors society Phi Eta Sigma. As a peer tutor, I learned the importance of rigorous practice and repetition. As a curious and visual learner myself, I prefer to use real-world examples, analogies, and visuals to explain material to students. I tutor in the broad areas of mathematics and statistics. I love to tutor, especially in these academic areas, because knowledge is an asset no matter what path someone might choose in life.
