I'm a student of Mathematics, Economics, and Philosophy at New York University, in my second year. What I love most is interacting with students from all around the world, which was why I attended international school in China, and why I have a knack for languages. I am an avid traveler, and New York City must be the only place I could settle down, given its diverse and exciting population. I taught science to elementary school children in rural parts of Eastern China as president of uLAB, a non-governmental organization whose goal was to encourage engagement and excitement in budding students. Though I am versed in many areas, I most enjoy tutoring Mandarin, Math, and English. There's a definite gratification, too, in honing the skills to ace standardized tests. I hope to impart that enjoyment on a tutee, along with a newfound passion to learn. With intellectual curiosity, learning becomes a treat rather than an obligation.
Education & Certification
Undergraduate Degree: New York University - Bachelor in Arts, Mathematics
Soccer is my favorite hobby, though I also sang in multiple a cappella groups. I am a part of the NYU philosophy club, as well. I hope this is not too evident in my formal writing style!
