After 10 years of studying French language and culture at the high school and university level, 2 summer study abroad programs in France, and 2 years of teaching elementary French at the university level I am very confident in my abilities in French and my ability to work with students who need assistance with the language. I earned a Bachelor's in French and a Master's in Linguistics & TESOL from WVU, where I also worked as a graduate teaching assistant in the basic French program. While working as a graduate teaching assistant at the university level, I frequently met with students during office hours and outside of class time to provide more personalized instruction and explanation that was not possible in the classroom setting. I frequently received positive reviews from students in their evaluations about how my instruction style and passion for French language and culture helped them to be successful in the classes I taught. I love French language and culture and love helping others who want to learn more.
