I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering in May 2019. While at Virginia Tech, I focused my studies on Water Resources Engineering and conducted research in Coastal Engineering. I worked at the Student Success Center my junior and senior year of college as a tutor, where I mostly tutored Statics. Since graduation, I have worked as a project engineering in stormwater management in Virginia. I have truly missed being able to tutor students each week and am excited to be back at it! I am a huge believer that with the proper amount of effort, any student can overcome their challenging classes and even learn to enjoy them. I also try to help my students set themselves up well for the future, even when it seems like the class material will never be used in their day-to-day life.

I try to spend most of my spare time outside. I love hiking and am hoping to do more backpacking trips in the future. I also enjoy reading, especially nonfiction books about environmental science and the natural world.
