Many students look at schoolwork as a drag. The workload for the average kid grows every day and they are bogged down by papers and assignments. Well, I am here to lighten the load! I love learning new things and I especially love trying to make learning more fun and exciting for others. It brings me such joy to see students work hard and reap the rewards of that effort. It is even more special when they find a subject they love and want to dive into it. I hope to help some students reach these goals!
I have always loved sharing knowledge with others. When I was around 10 years old, I worked with my mother at Lowe's instructing children on how to build birdhouses, wall clocks, and toy cars. Ever since those days of teaching children to hammer, I have had a passion for teaching and sharing with others. I love math (crazy, I know) and science and also am very good with Spanish. I double majored in college so I have a B.S. in Biology & Environmental Science. I also loved and excelled at Chemistry. I was a teaching assistant and resident advisor in various classes throughout my college career so I have experience tutoring a wide age range of students. I hope to make whatever subject your student is struggling with not only easier for them to understand, but also more fun! I hope you will consider working with me!
