I am a Sophomore at Iowa State University studying Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. During high school, I loved Math and Coding, and tutored these subjects at both Kumon and Sylvan learning centers in the past. Now, at Varsity Tutors, I help students see math, specifically Algebra I, II, and SAT/ACT Math, from a new lens.
Sometimes, math can get really complex and tedious, which is why I like to help students truly conceptualize math concepts, and see them as more than a bunch of numbers on a paper. Being able to connect math to the real world and visualize it gives the subject a sense of purpose, instead of making it seem like nothing more than inapplicable knowledge.
Outside of tutoring and school, I spend most of my free time producing music. What once started out as a hobby has become a part-time job where I sell beats to singers and rappers. I also play piano and guitar. Furthermore, I am obsessed with automobiles, and love to research and watch videos of exotic car reviews.
