I am currently studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. I spent several years in a tutoring/mentoring program during my time in high school, during which time I learned how to effectively teach a wide range of students, from special-needs to academically gifted. My favorite subjects to teach are Math and Physics, both of which I have extensive experience with as a result of my engineering coursework. I performed very well on my standardized tests and can help you to develop effective test-taking strategies. It is my goal to facilitate a relaxed and comfortable learning environment by personally connecting with my students. I believe that it is extremely important to build a strong foundation of math skills to serve you in future courses, as opposed to simply learning the steps to solving one specific problem.
If you or your child needs help catching up as a result of COVID-19 disruptions, I can help! I am capable of teaching full lesson plans.
