I am a graduate of Illinois State University, with a Masters from Northern Illinois University. My focus is in middle school Language Arts. As a former 8th grade ELA teacher, I am experienced in all aspects of middle school literature, reading and writing. I have been tutoring for over ten years in K-12 grade math and ELA. My passion is bringing clarity to a student's thought process. Identifying their strengths and weaknesses to bring balance to their approach is a goal that I strive to achieve with my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga and walking.
