My name is Cynthia Billotte (or Seora B) and I have been teaching since 2004 to middle and mostly high school students in the areas of Spanish, English and English as a Second Language. During my undergraduate career at Arizona State University, I studied abroad in both Mexico and Spain, and earned dual bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Humanities. My graduate studies in Spanish at Sacramento State University included three summers of study abroad in Peru, Mexico, and Spain. I love bringing my cultural experiences to life when teaching and hope to spark interest in students to travel and study abroad. Additionally, I enjoy the mentorship of working with students in small groups and one-on-one, facilitating greater understanding of content and watching their faces light up when they finally understand a concept with which they've been struggling. Even more rewarding is when I see students develop habits and skills that they can utilize across curriculum and take into all areas of their academic career as a framework for success.
