I have just finished up my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. I also attended Carnegie Mellon for my undergrad where I received an B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with an additional major in Engineering and Public Policy.
I love helping others break down concepts that seem impossible at first. As a past teaching assistant, I have had the chance to work with students and provide guidance and mentorship to help them complete the final class in their programs.
I tutor math at all levels as well as engineering and college preparation. I like to provide examples for students and then work through the problems in homework to make sure that we fully understand the concepts we are working on. I hope to make learning fun and engaging rather than another regular class.
In my free time, I like to read (always looking for suggestions), bake, and workout. I approach all of these things the same way I approach teaching and try to make it a fun way to learn new skills.
