I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Bachelors degrees in Spanish and Computer Science and served in the Peace Corps in Tanzania for nine months teaching English and math to high-school students prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have mentored a variety of subjects such as math/algebra, Spanish, English, Computer skills and essay proofreading and editing to various age-groups. My goals as a tutor are to help students gain confidence in themselves that they can not only master the material they need assistance with, but also proceed to achieve wonderful things in their lives, one step and one day at a time, and it gives me great joy to hear from past students about their accomplishments and future goals. I am very approachable, friendly, and willing to put my best efforts to help make a difference in students' academic journeys and help them feel more curious about learning.
