I am an undergraduate at the College of William and Mary, studying Government. While I have experience tutoring for a wide range of age groups and subjects, I most enjoy assisting students with their college and English essays, and working with new Spanish language students. I have a lot of tutoring experience, including working with elementary school kids at Seattle non-profit Team Read, and helping Virginia high school students with their papers as an English 10 Classroom Assistant. I have also tutored all levels of Spanish language students, ranging from Spanish 1 to AP Spanish, helping them improve their conjugation, vocabulary, and conversational skills. I am passionate about education, and craft curriculum to each student's specific strengths and weaknesses. When editing a paper, it is especially important to me not to lose the student's voice in their work, as I believe my role as an editor is not to rewrite a student's paper, but to help students elevate their ideas in a professional and academic way. Most of all, I want to help students gain academic confidence by facilitating a learning environment in which students are not afraid to make mistakes and challenge themselves.
