Students have described me as fun, caring, helpful, and encouraging. I am just finishing my Ph.D. in Mathematics Education, so obviously I like to do math (and statistics!) and learn about the best ways to teach, but I especially enjoy helping others discover their ability to do math and statistics and reason logically.
I build off my student's knowledge and interests to make learning enjoyable. Prior to going back to school, I worked on the business side of healthcare after studying Industrial and Systems Engineering and Health Systems at Georgia Tech. I am fortunate to have seen some real-word applications of applied math and statistics where it helps make things more efficient and effective.
