I am a rising astrophysics PhD student and a January 2020 graduate from Rutgers University with a B.S. in astrophysics. I love developing a deep understand of physics and math and am excited to share my passion and knowledge with others. When teaching, I strive to balance detail with a digestible amount of information. My teaching and tutoring position at NYC Career Centers has helped me develop my ability to read my students and find that balance for each one. Furthermore, that experience has taught me how to recognize and help when a student is confused but can't necessarily formulate a question; sometimes it's important to convey a concept in multiple different ways when a student is struggling to grasp the original explanation.
I'm looking forward to helping you or your student enjoy and succeed in math and/or physics.
