Hello, I am currently a medical student in the Midwest. I graduated undergrad with a Bachelor's in Biology and returned to complete a Master's in Chemistry. The key to being successful in science classes is to have a strong foundation in the basics. In the beginning of every science class that I have taken from Biology, General Chemistry, or Anatomy & Physiology, every professor made sure that students had a firm grasp on the basics. If you didn't have a good grasp on those principles then the rest of the class would only get harder. My approach to tutoring and helping students is to make sure they have a solid foundation so they can feel confident in learning and studying.
I have tutored in undergrad where I helped students who needed assistance in General Biology and General Chemistry. I have worked with kids in middle school and foster homes who needed more help with math and reading foster school and in church.
I have two science degrees and I am on my way to finishing my medical degree. Without a doubt, science is one of my strongest subjects but I credit that to me being humble enough to relearn the basics and not being afraid to ask for help. I want to help students take charge of their learning so feel free to reach out and contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson.
