Hello, I'm an early childhood teacher with several years' experience teaching younger grades. Most of my experience has been in preschool and kindergarten; a critical age that shapes children's future education. I obtained my bachelor's degree in December 2012 from Brigham Young University in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I understand that children learn best when they are motivated and learning is fun. I know that learning can be motivating when given the proper materials and activities. I am committed to helping your child succeed, even if it includes trying a new method or approach. I hope to promote open communication with my clients where we can assess what strategies are working well and adjust teaching methods as needed.
While most of my experience teaching comes from younger grades, I enjoy helping students of all ages succeed. My favorite subjects are English grammar, spelling, and writing. I have a natural eye for editing grammar and spelling. I enjoy helping others express their thoughts in writing. My family members have often come to me for assistance with their professional and college papers.
As a tutor, I will assess student needs and give support to reach their goals. I will interact with my clients in a way that they feel comfortable and respected. I am committed to helping my students achieve hard things through perseverance and determination. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have. I'm happy to help!
