Science has always been my favorite subject! In high school, I loved classes like biology, chemistry, and calculus. These are the things that I'm most passionate about, and I'd love to share that passion with other students.
My high school was kindergarten through 12th grade, so I have experience teaching and interacting with middle and high school-aged people. As I mentioned, I'm super passionate about science, so that is my favorite thing to tutor. I also tutor math (elementary school, middle school, algebra, and calculus) and all ACT subjects, including writing.
I believe that everyone learns differently, and everyone deserves an opportunity to explore their learning style. I would like to guide students while they explore the way that they learn, all while helping them understand their coursework. Realizing your learning style is the first step to becoming a life-long learner.
I am currently an undergraduate student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. I am pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Communication for Health Professionals. After I have completed my Bachelor's degree, I am planning on attending medical school.
Outside of academics, I am involved in some on-campus organizations like Camp Kesem and the American Medical Students Association. I also played soccer and lacrosse in high school, and I would love to pick those back up someday!
It wasn't too long ago that I was in middle and high school. I've taken subjects that weren't my strong suit, and I've asked for help more times than I can count. I know what it feels like to be stuck! Now, I'd like to help you get un-stuck, and to a place where you feel comfortable and confident in the material! I'm excited to meet all of you!
