Hello families and students! It's my pleasure to support you in your child's education. I have 25 years of experience in teaching in the classroom (K-12), along with the gifted and talented program, Science, Math, English, and creative thinking. My career also included being the Director of a Master of Arts in Teaching graduate program and faculty development. At the University level, I have taught graduate students and undergraduate students in subject matters of Education, Teacher Preparation, and Global Learning.

I earned my PhD in Education at the Universiy of Rhode Island and worked at the senior leadership and curriculum levels. My undergraduate degree is in Accounting with an MBA in Management and used that knowledge working in corporate banking. When I had children of my own I realized how precious their development as thinkers would be. So, I began to teach them to read and math starting at a young age. As they grew up, I went back to school to learn how to be a certified teacher...and loved it!!! I keep learning because I find it so interesting to understand the world around me.

I have retired from the traditional schoolhouse and find tutoring online fascinating. My favorite way to teach is to make the learning fun for you.
