I received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Bethune Cookman in 2003 and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Walden University in 2010. I have sixteen years' experience as a classroom mathematics teacher, tutor, and an instructional leader. I enjoy teaching mathematics to students because I believe mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding. I truly believe that all students can and will learn with the right amount of love, patient, and understanding. When I am not helping others learn mathematics I enjoy coaching football and spending quality time with my family.
